petri delights is an art/dance collective, including Jatie Tucker, Sonia Odedra, Rosie Reith, myself and many other collaborators.

My role as maker/designer was to build wearable prosthesis which explored hybridity and the role of the alien in bodies, dance and sex. I collaborated with choreographers who used those exoskeletons as the stimulus for their movement.

The performer’s choreography is informed by how the costume restricts, extends or mutates bodies and movement qualities. The costume and performance aren’t separate – they inform and articulate one another. It’s an experimental dialogue between body and prosthesis.
